I'm a working headshot photographer based in Austin, Texas. I built Corporate Headshot Mastery because the business side of this work is hard — and most of what's out there to help photographers is either too generic or too theoretical to be useful.
I didn't start with a course. I started with a camera and figured it out the hard way.
I started shooting professionally in Winnipeg in 2005. For the first decade it was the full range — weddings, portraits, commercial work. Headshots came into focus in 2015 and quickly became the primary business. Corporate clients, individual professionals, convention work. The communication systems, pricing models, and CRM workflows all got built out during those years because they had to be.
By 2019 the studio was doing $300K USD annually at its peak. Everything documented, everything running on the system that's now inside the Playbook.
Then I moved to Austin in May 2025. New country, new market, zero existing clients. Same system, new city. ATX Headshots launched from scratch and is currently on track for $150K in year one — the business is being built in real time, using exactly the tools and workflows inside CHM.
That is the whole point of Corporate Headshot Mastery. The system isn't theoretical. It's running right now, in a market I didn't know, producing results I can point to. I packaged it up because other photographers kept asking how I did it — and the honest answer was that it's all documented anyway.
